Hello Guys, How are you all. We are back with again our favorite column Talk of Indian Cinema on 4th Weekend of December. Indian Film Industry Always focus on our culture and region and specially our festival. Every aspect of the industry and all the films are soup without bowl until it don’t have music, on the other hand some films specially created on Music. Yes today we talk about one of the special film of 90s which is romantic musical journey and directed by none other than show men Mr. Subhash Ghai. Yes many of you know the name its Taal.
Taal is 1999’s Hindi Romantic & Musical Drama Film. Which was written, directed, produced by Mr. Subhash Ghai. The film was romantic triangle and it shape a unique way to their lead actors. The film featured on Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan , Akshay Khanna. Music director of the film is God of music A.R. Rehman. Film total lenght is around 3 hour and 10 minutes. Yes its full length film. Film starting with two friends Amrish puri & Alok Nath. Both were met during vacation and that time Aishwarya Rai & Akshay khanna fall in love with each other. But every lovestory has some villain similarly here family is being villain. Amrish puri is richest person so he decline the love of his son.
After that Aishrya Rai met Anil Kapoor who play the role of Vikrant Kapoor who is famous music director & producer. After the listening of aishwarya voice he offer for program and after the program he contract for 3 years with her. During this journey Aishwarya became famous actreess and won number of awards. On the other hand Akshay khanna find her and apologize her for insult which done by his family to her family. But Aishwarya reject her and plan to marry with Anil ji. On the wedding day Anil kapoor realize that aishwarya won’t love her she just maried to him because of his gratitude on her and he relase her to marry with Akshay. In climax finally Akshay KHanna & Aishwarya RAi marry to each other.
The entire film based on musical journey so many singer who sung the songs including Sujata Mohan, SOnu nigam, Anuradha, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Sukhvindar singh, Asha Bhosle, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Vaishali Samant & many others in chorus.
This film also dubbed in tamil and release in south. The film won many awards for its story, direction ,lead performance,make up, music, choreography and so on.
