Hello, Guys, How are you all? Today Last Sunday of the September and every last Sunday we talk about Indian Cinema in our hot favourite show Talk Of Indian Cinema. Every time we talk different things of the our Indian cinema. Today we talk something special and interesting talks about Indian Cinema. Music is core part of cinema and our life. Without music we can’t imagine our life or any film. Without music and song if any film release we never like it. Many films recently made and released where not a single song in film but yes all that film already had a background music which fetch audience to cinema.
Today on 9th episode we talk that personality of Indian cinema who not just given voice and beautiful songs to our industry but due to her voice out industry and our films get a new height and new vision. Her voice has a magic , her voice made our day , her voice is all time hit. Let’s talk about that personality to don’t waste more time none other Lata Mangeshkar Ji. She was born on 28th September 1929. Yes tomorrow her 91st birthday . everyone know her that she is an indian playback singer and music director.In last 6 decades she given more than thousand songs to Indian cinema. Many few knows that she also given songs in Marathi , Bengali ,Gujarati and Sanskrit.
Talk about her is not less than a book but due to
time limit we quickly through about her life. Her father was Marathi and Konkani
musician. She born in indore. Her father was also theatre actor , her mother is
basically Gujarati. Her last name is not mangeshkar but its Hardikar , her father change it to
Mangeshkar to identify his family is native town of Goa. Lata didi’s name also
not lata but its hema at her birthtime after her parents change to lata and
this name is come from her father’s play BhaavBandhan’s actress Latika.
Lata ji got the basic music training from her father at the age of 5 , she was also played a role in her father’s drama. In 1942 when lata ji was only 13th her father was died due to heart attack and her father’s friend Vinayak Master took care of her and helped to lataji for became singer and actress.
Lata sung the song for Vasant Joglekar’s Marathi film Kirti Hasaal Naachu ya Gade but due to sensor cut in film that song was drop from the film. Lataji’s first hindi song was Mata Ek Sapoot Ki Duniya Badal de tu for Marathi film Gajabhauu in 1943. After that she moved to Mumbai in 1945 and star training from Ustad Aman Ali and she sung song for the film Aap ki sewa main and performed on Rohini Bhate who was classical singer also.she also sung a bhajan mata tere charno mein during that time.
1948 Ghulam Haider introduce her to producer Mukharjee who was working on movie Shaheed she given a chance to sing for her film but she reject lataji due to her thin voice. Haider given another chance and major break with song Dil mera toda kahin ka na chhoda in the film Majboor which became biggest hit and lata ji belive haider sab is my godfather. After that lataji worked with many singer and music director and she given her voice in Baiju Bawra ,Mother India Barsat ,aah ,shree 420 , chori chori like many hit films.
In 1958 she won Filmfare awards for best female playback singer for Aaja re Pardesi from Madhumati . In 1960 she given record break song in Mughal-e-azam and its Pyar Kia to Darna Kya and Dil apna aur preet parai song Ajeeb Dasta hai yeh these two song played since today and everyone enjoy it. She also sung patriotic songs like Aye Mere Watan Ke Logo. She made debut in kannada in 1967.
Now after her journey its remember for all. She given one to one hit songs in indian cinema. She work almost all biggest producer and directors. She sung almost all film of yash chopra in 19s. she given song in Yash chopra’s Chandni ,Lamhe ,Daar ,Ye dillagi ,DDLJ, Dil to pagal hai, Mohabattein ,Mujse Dosti Karogi ,Veer Zara . She also won Bharat Ratna. She also produced film Vadal ,Jhaanjar , Kanchan Ganga ,Lekin.
She was honour by Bharat Ratna , Padma Bhushan , Padma Vibhushan , Zee Cine Awards , Dada Saheb Phalke Awards , NTR National Awards and many more.
